The new "Biblical theology", a.k.a. redemptive-historical theology, puts man's wisdom above God's Word.
Biblical theology views the Bible "as it comes" - book-by-book, chapter-by-chapter, verse-by-verse.
Rejecting or neglecting systematic theology leads to wrong attitudes toward the Bible that can lead to unbelief.
Is the Bible your church's supreme authority, or have other things taken first place?
The Bible is as accurate and reliable as its Author.

We know this for two reasons: God's promise, and historical evidence of His continuing faithfulness to it.
It's not our job to define Christianity. Our responsibility is to understand God's definition.
We have God's very specific promise to preserve His Word, and the evidence that He has kept it.
The text of the Bible was written by "driven" men.
That may sound like a strange question! But in our time, the sad consensus of Evangelical opinion is "No".
