Taking on a man-made label is problematic, and actually un-Biblical. One Name should be label enough for every saint of God.
In our last message from Colossians 2 and Acts 2, we saw that only those who have believed on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation are qualified to be baptized. But this leaves a question in the minds of many: What about the children that Peter mentions in Acts 2:39? Why are they not to be baptized? Stay tuned as we answer that question is today's message.
Many Bible-believing churches teach that only believers in Christ are to be baptized. Other Bible-believing churches teach that the infant children of believing parents are also to be baptized. According to Scripture, who is qualified to receive water baptism, and why? Stay tuned for the answer to that question, as we continue our series of messages from Colossians chapter two.
In Colossians 2:12, the Apostle Paul speaks of the believer in Christ as having been "buried with Him in baptism." What is this baptism? Just as the circumcision of the preceding verse is a spiritual circumcision -- "made without hands" -- the baptism of verse 12 is a spiritual baptism.

How do we know this? What is the significance of this fact for the believer and the church? Stay tuned to find out, as we continue our series of messages from Colossians chapter two titled "Truth Above All".
In Colossians 2:11, the Apostle Paul speaks of a circumcision that takes place for every believer in Jesus Christ. He says it is "the circumcision made without hands."

What is that circumcision? What does it mean for you as a believer? Stay tuned to find out, as we continue our series of messages from Colossians chapter two titled "Truth Above All".
Today many Christians talk of "reclaiming America for Christ" - "reclaiming the culture for Christ" - or "reclaiming government for Christ". If only we could "reclaim" these things, they say, the world would be so much better. The church would have so much greater influence.

Is this true of you, dear friend? We hope it is not, because such thinking is contrary to God's Word. A Reconstructionist mentality about the role of Christians in this present world reveals a tragic misunderstanding of what God's Word tells us in several key areas. What are those areas? What does God's Word say? Stay tuned to find out.
Today in our study of the evil of legalism in the church, we'll begin an evaluation of the Christian Reconstructionist Movement, which is also sometimes known as Dominion Theology or Theonomy. What are the problems of this legalistic movement, according to God's Word? Stay tuned to find out.
Today we are witnessing a return to legalistic ceremonialism and ritualism in the worship of some Evangelical churches. This is especially true in Reformed churches today. The smells, bells, lamps and candles of the Old Covenant and Romanism are reappearing.
Today one group in the Evangelical church is teaching that you must become a member of the Jewish covenant to be saved. Another group teaches that the New Testament church must keep the Old Testament feast days. Another group says there will be a re-institution of the Old Testament sacrificial system when Christ comes again.

Are any of these teachings correct? What does the Bible say about these things? Stay tuned to find out, as we continue our study on the dangers of legalism, in Colossians chapter two.
One of our most-requested broadcasts asks and answers this question. The answer is not what you'll hear from politicians and pundits or at tea party rallies.

We find it in seven words from Ephesians chapter 6: "We wrestle not against flesh and blood." Christians and churches that forget this vital fact are part of the problem, not the solution. Where do you stand?
