Recognizing & Dealing With Apostasy

We live in a time of widespread and growing apostasy in churches, seminaries, and Bible colleges - and in Christian homes. Dealing with apostasy is not only the responsibility of pastors and church leaders - it is the responsibility of every believer.

Many who perish believe it's safer to remain on a large but mortally wounded ship than to enter small but sound lifeboat.
"My church isn't preaching the Gospel or Biblical morality anymore. But I don't think I'll leave. Maybe things will get better."
Under such conditions, there can be but one possible Biblical response from those who continue to stand for the truth.
Adopting a Biblical attitude toward false teachers & dealing with them accordingly is never easy or convenient.
We can only identify false teachers using the objective measuring rod of Scripture; mere opinions are irrelevant.
When truth becomes optional, error is justifiable.
Scripture tells us that there are circumstances in which such a rebuke is the Christian's duty before God.
True anathema is not the proclamation of man or a church, but of God.
In each of the four possible outcomes, do the right thing, and trust God for the results.
You need to understand the Biblical steps in confronting apostasy - and how apostates' allies and enablers may try to block, complicate, or circumvent the process.
