Today we are witnessing a return to legalistic ceremonialism and ritualism in the worship of some Evangelical churches. This is especially true in Reformed churches today. The smells, bells, lamps and candles of the Old Covenant and Romanism are reappearing.
Today one group in the Evangelical church is teaching that you must become a member of the Jewish covenant to be saved. Another group teaches that the New Testament church must keep the Old Testament feast days. Another group says there will be a re-institution of the Old Testament sacrificial system when Christ comes again.

Are any of these teachings correct? What does the Bible say about these things? Stay tuned to find out, as we continue our study on the dangers of legalism, in Colossians chapter two.

In Colossians two, Paul tells us that Satan uses three lies to confuse the church. Worldly philosophy presents a false Christ. Legalism presents an insufficient Christ. Man-made doctrines present a changeable Christ.

But Paul declares that Jesus is the genuine and all-sufficient Christ, and Lord of all. And you the believer, Paul says, are complete in Christ.

What does it mean to be complete in Christ? Stay tuned.
In Colossians chapter two, the Apostle Paul tells us that a vital element in the church's battle front against Satan's threats is trust in a complete Savior. But today many church-goers aren't trusting in a complete Savior, because their churches aren't preaching a complete Savior.

What makes Jesus Christ the complete Savior? Stay tuned to find out, as we continue our series of studies in Colossians chapter two titled "Truth Above All".
Camping's failed prediction is the least of his damnable heresies. He has led souls to Hell, and has condemned himself.
